Personality

When it comes to Scandal, the man seems to have two faces. As seen on sports channels and tabloids, Sam Scandal is an aloof, meanspirited, and cruel man whose actions are an affront to the great sport of Blaseball. He can't go a day without saying or doing something to rile up the fans. He's got a soul more monstrous than even the most incomprehensible player in the game.

However, his teammates and fans who have gotten a chance to meet him have a very different story. They say that Sam Scandal "Is the genuinely goodest person who ever lived" [sic] and "He has never done anything wrong." [sic]

Of course, as we know that gossip rags are infinitely more accurate than first hand accounts, clearly that's a bunch of malarkey.

Controversies

Despite their high rating compared to the rest of the Steaks, Scandal's abrasive personality causes division among fans. Glossip reported Scandal saying "The Commissioner is not doing a great job," "I am not participating in the cultural event of Blaseball," "Incineration is not the only way out," and "I am not all love Blaseball." Scandal fervently denies saying any of these things, yet rumors still persist in the Blaseball world.
