COMMUNITY REPORTS
The remainder of this article contains lore created collaboratively by the Blaseball community.

Rosa Holloway (He/Her) is an emergency paramedic and Blaseball player, presently playing for the Ohio Worms. Rosa earned a degree in paramedic science from Johns Hopkins University, where she ran the medic tent at athletic events for many years. Rosa volunteers frequently at community protests and events.

Rosa is a compassionate and sympathetic person, but he is straightforward in his words and actions. Other Worms players have been known to remark “Wow, Rosa is not putting up with any silt today.” Rosa learned from his paramedic training to react quickly and decisively, and takes a similar approach with most of his social interactions. When asked about his approach to life, Rosa stated “You either take your chances, or you don’t. If I make a mistake, so be it… because hesitating is the worst mistake of all.”

Rosa has a snail assistant named Football. Football is highly trained, and an essential part of Rosa’s operations as a medic. When concentrating intensely, Rosa is able to supernaturally see through the various “layers” in a person’s anatomy, to assist with diagnosing and treating injuries.

Rosa has little patience for her own appearance, preferring to shave her hair for convenience’s sake. She maintains a (largely accidental) sea/ocean aesthetic: those near her tend to smell occasional whiffs of sea air and seaweed. Rosa spends a great deal of time at the lake near the Wormhole, wishing that she were on the ocean instead. In her time off, Rosa knits large sweaters and spends quiet time around the team and her other friends. Rosa is fluent in Spanish.

As Rosa has advanced in age, he has found that he sleeps less and less. As of the time of this writing, Rosa has stopped sleeping entirely. Weariness does not creep in – rather, Rosa is able to maintain focus as long as necessary, even in his leisure time. This has helped establish him as a “team parent” type figure. He tends to wait until the right moment to speak up, chiming in when he knows exactly what to say and can anticipate what his listeners’ reactions will be.

Rosa remains very physically fit, which is a bond she shares with Jacob Winner. She feels some responsibility to ensure that Winner and Arturo Huerta don’t get up to too many shenanigans. Rosa has some qualms about Johnnyboy Aster because he is quick to speak and often wrong in what he says. Rosa has provided support to NaN in the past, as NaN continues to grow into a new role as a leader of the Worms. Rosa shares brief moments of rest and respite with McDowell Mason, getting coffee together or hanging out at the lake in near-silence.
