History

Discovered by scientists before Season 1, the floating Fifth Borough of New York is located approximately 1.73 miles above the bay. The scientists accessed it through a door of unspecified use at the back of their local deli.

Shortly after its discovery, the New York Millennials called dibs. While it is not un-illegal, the urban homestead does raise questions.

"people need a place to [play blaseball], and these [extradimensional stadia] are empty." - Book of Chorby

After the Incineration of Chorby Soul, Section 420 in the left field bleachers was designated as the Chorby Soul Memorial Section. Fans of Soul continue to congregate in this section, wearing yellow shirts and occasionally shouting prayers of "Chorby Thanks."

Location

Access

Battin' Island can be accessed through two primary methods. The first is any door whose use has not been specified, only speculated upon. This includes, but is not limited to, that door you always pass on your commute.

The second is by taking the 7, the E or the F train.

Parking

The Fifth Borough has a spacious parking lot, but due to lack of use, it has been dubbed the Skating Lot. It is often crowded with local teens and is rumored to be haunted by The Living Ghost of Tony Hawk after his ascension to the hyperstate of simultaneous Skate and Die.

Flora and Fauna

Flora

It has been confirmed that you cannot grow flowers on Battin' Island.

Fauna

Spectators have claimed to see birds nesting in the rafters of the stadium. It has been confirmed that you should not eat the birds on Battin' Island.
