Ward joined Internet League Blaseball as a pitcher for the Pandemonium Artists during the inaugural Coffee Cup.

Watson Ward has always dreamed of becoming a superhero, unfortunately, these days even an entry-level vigilante position requires roughly 6-10 years of professional experience. Thus, Ward spent much of his youth as an apprentice (e.g. unpaid intern.) to a variety of other heroes. Over time he has developed a rather strong resume of sidekick skills, including but not limited to:
- Spouting family friendly puns during combat.
- Doing a cool backflip.
- Asking exactly the right question during a difficult investigation.
- Looking really impressed when the hero announces the solution to a difficult investigation.
