Plasma’s Vaulting

During the Season 20 elections, the Boss announced that Plasma and Liquid Friend's Investigation was completed; immediately sending them both to the Vault. Larsen was distraught over the sudden disappearance of hir mentor, and began desperately searching Plasma’s room for clues. In eir search Larsen discovered many stacks of Plasma’s notes, several cups of stale coffee, and a large store of almond joys in a locked chest. However, the only actual clue found was a single red herring.

Larsen has not given up hope in retrieving Plasma, and was reportedly seen determinedly staring towards the Vault alongside replica Uncle Plasma IX during the Breath Mints’ navigation out of the Hall in Season 24, fearless even in the face of the encroaching Horizon.

This will include:

• Plasma joining the Mints due to a paperwork loophole planned by Max Betmint
• Mentorship of Kina Larsen
• Vacations to Schlitterbahn
• Failed the bar exam
• A Vignette-format IRM consisting of scraps of Uncle Plasma's notes, which are mostly misattributed dril tweets

Additionally, adding a chants section with contributions from both mints and mills, and adding fanworks to the gallery.

As with other Preserved players, Uncle Plasma's page is locked for archival purposes. Should lore be missing for Plasma, reach out to a moderator for assistance. Lore written for Plasma should not extend beyond the Season 20 Elections, and should be written as though nobody knew what was coming.

I don't exactly have any big lore for Uncle Plasma but what if he's the universal uncle of every player on whichever team he's on

It seems like a consensus has been emerging on the discord that Uncle Plasma is being made of pure energy. I haven't been following their development as closely as liquid friend. Is uncle plasma extremely bright? or just really hot? There's another theory that Uncle Plasma is made of blood? or just some kind of hot goop?

Uncle Plasma Twitter RPer here. I've been interpreting them as a being made of plasma, state of matter. I think they're probably very bright and hot, but they wear special clothing to make sure others around them are safe.

OH ALSO I've been using all pronouns for Plasma. Totally subject to change, though.

Yeah, that's probably fair, as I said, I do think that plasma (state of matter) has emerged as the more common interpretation. That's cool about the clothing- yes, Uncle Plasma definitely always wears long coats and hats and such. I collected a bunch of the early drawings of B.C. Noir from the discord and they're often dressed very sharp.

I have no strong feelings regarding pronouns for Plasma- in this discussion we've been using 'they' pretty effortlessly, but I also see a case for 'he' since 'Uncle' is a traditionally male title with an equal and distinct female title being 'Aunt'. I haven't seen any kind of significant trend in the discord. It seems members of B.C. Noir are most often addressed individually by name, or as a collective team.

Who is this player? What are they made of? What are they like? What are their pronouns?

• I think there's been a lot of discussion/agreement that Uncle Plasma is a Noir-style detective, in partnership with Liquid Friend.

• I heard somewhere that Uncle Plasma is everyone's Uncle. This seems obviously wonderful to me. Uncle Plasma should be everyone's uncle, and especially Liquid Friend's Uncle.

• I also read an interesting theory from ZweiHawk in the discord: "Park3r was vaporized (gas), P4rker was percolated (liquid), and PVrker is okay for now (solid) If Parkers go down in number for their state, and Uncle Plasma is well, plasma... P2rker is uncle plasma"

• There's also been a bit of discussion about Uncle Plasma being simply another state of the same matter that makes up Liquid Friend.

Hey, Uncle Plasma Twitter RPer here. Uncle Plasma, as I interpret them, is the head of the BC Noir detective agency. They are everyone's uncle, especially Liquid Friend. Also, through some RP shenanigans, XVI (Major Arcana) has also been hired by the agency. The theory from ZweiHawk is something I haven't heard. I think that is really cool, but it sounds like something that would be canonized by the devs or someone like that.

I agree, about fanciful ZweiHawk theory, I think it's cool but until/unless it gets picked up by the community at large and starts to feel really cannon, it's probably not a huge factor.
