Davids is known for his wicked breaking balls, extremely good eyebrows, and his witty banter on the mound. They are also known for being an emotional bulwark for the pitching team. Davids has successfully helped each pitcher with approximately 50 life crises so far, and he hasn't stopped yet.

It is rumored that Davids is not just altruistic, but is in fact a corporeal apparition from the Realm Beyond Death. If true, his place on the Wild Wings team as opposed to the Hades Tigers is a puzzling anomaly, and may be attributed to a clerical error. If the rumors are to be believed, he has been charged by forces beyond description to assist in bringing players from the Lawful Evil league back into the fold of Goodness.

Others have maintained, however, that his devotion to counseling is borne from a deep-seated need to try out his eyebrow powers.

Davids' eyebrows are often ascribed with the property of having a "luck" field, although Blaseball researchers speculate that the main source of this apparent luck may in fact be the Wild Wings Legal Team, who hypothetically could employ loopholes in the laws of Blaseball to produce certain effects, dependent upon his eyebrow-orientation.
