Team Incinerations

See the main article on Team Incinerations.
The events of the Semi-Centennial where the destruction of Sun(Sun) created the Supernova resulted in a new weather type for Season 24: The Supernova Eclipse.

This weather was able to cause both regular incinerations that had been seen previously under an eclipse, but the incinerations of entire teams as well. By the end of the season, two teams met this fate.

Kansas City Breath Mints

On Season 24 Day 3, the Kansas City Breath Mints played the Philly Pies under a Super Nova Eclipse and were incinerated by a Rouge Umpire. Notably the Mints were not unstable, making this the first example of a non-unstable team incineration.

The Mints were replaced by the Oxford Paws.

After play ended, the Monitor appeared addressing the Mints to follow me, take a break, beat the heat, in the trench.

Hawai’i Fridays

On Season 24 Day 12 the Hawai'i Fridays played the Baltimore Crabs under a Supernova Eclipse and were incinerated by a Rouge Umpire, chaining their instability to the Crabs.

Due to the Fridays'  Squiddish modification, they were replaced by the Carolina Queens.

After play ended, the Monitor appeared delivered the following message to the Fridays;it's island time, come with me, to the trench, the vibes are right.

Soon after the Coin also appeared and delivered the following message: It is Island Time!
