History

COMMUNITY REPORTS
The remainder of this article contains lore created collaboratively by the Blaseball community.

Barajas is the ultimate melding of science and blaseball, designed using the genetics of the most mediocre Blaseball players that would submit to experimentation and several birds captured by the CDMX Wild Wings staff. Their goal was to give form to the sacred "Perfect Wing" in hopes of contacting the entity known as Guy Flieri to carry the team to the finals. Because of this she is a half blaseball player half bird monster (known colloquially as a "Harpy").

The most notable feature about Barajas is that at the end of every game she lays an egg. This egg will hatch before the beginning of the next game and play in her place. Unfortunately, because of this, this creature perfectly engineered for blaseball will never gain a full understand of the rules, and may play extremely inconsistently. Many of the Barajases seem incapable of even holding a bat, and the ones that do often fail to understand what to do with it.

After each game, the previous Barajas will leave the stadium for a time, often going on to live individual and unique lives for a short time, but most, if not all, have been reported to eventually return to the massive roost above The Bucket, eternally watching (and occasionally interfering with) Wild Wings home games. While very few people have seen the oldest iterations of Barajas, rumors have surfaced of massive winged creatures occasionally spotted circling around the stadium like violet feathered dragons, occasionally accompanies by blurry photos that neither decisively confirm or deny the existence of these creatures. Due to their reproduction, some worry that iterations of Cell Barajas will come to fill the entire Wild Wings stadium in time.

Each and every iteration of Cell Barajas plays for the Mexico City Wild Wings.

The Registry of Cell Barajas

Over 1000 Cell Barajas have played the splort of Blaseball. Each iteration prides itself on their uniqueness. This time, the Interdimensional Rumor Mill reveals a Cell from IF-39.560 out of its Cell Registry...

After 11 full seasons of Blaseball and half a Grand Siesta, Cell #1102 was the first Cell to show off her pitching skills. When her captaincy was announced, Cell asked Burke Gonzales and Silvia Rugrat for private pitching lessons. She also got some physics lectures and some questionable advice, but she swears the practice greatly assisted her 12 strikeout game. While Cell was busy coaching the Light & Sweet Electric Co., the Wild Wings prepared a big celebration for the birthday girl. While not every Wing could make it to the debut game (due to also playing in the Cup), Stephanie Winters made sure to film the whole game from the stands, and Rafael Davids and Fran Beans hosted a rambunctious watch party after the tournament was over.
