Balloons are a type of Ballpark Renovation that lower a stadium's eDensity. There are three types of Balloons that are known: Balloons, Flood Balloons, and Hot Air Balloons.

Balloons

Balloons is a Ballpark Modification introduced in Season β20 Earlsiesta that causes a balloon to inflate with each run scored in a ballpark, and ten to be inflated with each win. Balloons cause a small amount of negative eDensity.

Balloons was Ratified into physical Law in the Season β21 Latesiesta.

Balloons was Nullified in Season β24 Day 29 by the Black Hole (Black Hole).

Effect

When a Ballpark has Balloons, any run is accompanied by the inflation of a single balloon, lowering the ballpark's eDensity slightly. Any Win in that ballpark results in the inflation of ten balloons. If any player scored a home run in a ballpark with balloons, it would occasionally pop some of them, and scare away a number of Birds.

The number of balloons in a single ballpark is tracked on that ballpark's page under the "Balloons" heading.

History

Balloons first appeared in the Season β20 Earlsiesta as an available ballpark renovation.

Balloons was Ratified into physical Law in the Season β21 Latesiesta.

In Season 20 by the Lift, Firefighters, Tigers, Wild Wings, Georgias, Dale, Flowers, Sunbeams, Spies, Worms, Steaks, Pies, Garages, Mechanics, Fridays, Shoe Thieves and Magic.
In Season 21 by the Millennials

Balloons were ratified in the Season β21 Latesiesta.

Nullification

On Day 29 Lenny Crumb of the Ohio Worms nullified Balloons by scoring ten runs under the Black Hole (Black Hole).

Flood Balloons

Flood Balloons is a Ballpark Modification introduced in Season β21 Earlsiesta that causes a Flood Balloon to fill with each Flooding event. Flood Balloons cause a medium amount of negative eDensity.

Effect

When a Ballpark has Flood Balloons any Flooding event is accompanied by the inflation of a Flood balloon, lowering the ballpark's eDensity a moderate amount.

The number of Flood balloons in a single ballpark is tracked on that ballpark's page under the "Flood Balloons" heading.

History

Flood Balloons first appeared in the Season β21 Earlsiesta as an available ballpark renovation.

Hot Air Balloons

Hot Air Balloons is a Ballpark Modification introduced in Season β23 Earlsiesta that causes a Hot Air Balloon to fill with each Incineration. Hot Air Balloons cause a large amount of negative eDensity.

Effect

When a Ballpark has Hot Air Balloons any Incineration is accompanied by the inflation of a Hot Air balloon, lowering the ballpark's eDensity a large amount.

The number of Hot Air balloons in a single ballpark is presumably tracked on that ballpark's page under a "Hot Air Balloons" heading - however none were filled before the end of the Expansion Era.
