Ratification is a Decree that passed in the Season 18 Election, causing any Ballpark Modification built by at least 18 teams to ratify into a League Modification.

Ratification was active from the Season β18 Election until Season 24 Day 40, when it was Nullified by the Black Hole (Black Hole).

Season 18

In Season β18, Ratification was offered as one of six possible Decrees the community could vote, with the top tree coming into effect. It was available alongside the following decrees:

• Wrecking Ball Gain Access to the Wrecking Ball to Remove unwanted Renovations.
• Hype Train Build Hype in your Ballparks when you Shame Opponents.
• On The House Teams will build an Additional Renovation at no extra cost each Season.
• Climate Control Gain Access to Weather Reduction Renovations.
• Trust Fall turn the tables. winning will be losing. trust me.

Ratification passed with 761,736 Votes, 9% of all Decree Votes alongside the following message:

  REPLICATING
  BURROWING
  NESTING IN CORTEX
  BECOMING LAW

Ratified Renovations

After Ratification passed, any Stadium Renovation built by at least 18 teams would be removed from all stadiums and put in place as a League Modification.
The following Renovations were Ratified over the course of the Expansion Era:

• Hotel Motel - Ratified in the Season β18 Election
• Turntables - Ratified in the Season β18 Election
  • Turntables passed as a Decree in the same election, and was added to every ballpark before being removed to be added as a League Modifier
• Tunnels - Ratified in the Season β20 Latesiesta
  • Tunnels was ratified in the same Season it was introduced
• Balloons - Ratified in the Season β21 Latesiesta
• Bird Hotel - Ratified in the Season β21 Latesiesta
  • Bird Hotel was ratified in the same Season it was introduced
• Voicemail - Ratified in the Season β21 Latesiesta
• Phantom Thieves' Guild - Ratified in the Season β22 Latesiesta
  • Phantom Thieves' Guild was ratified in the same Season it was introduced
• Fax Machine - Ratified in the Season β23 Latesiesta
• Stables - Ratified in the Season β23 Latesiesta
  • Stables was ratified in the same Season it was introduced

Nullification

On Day 68 Howell Franklin of the Hellmouth Sunbeams nullified Ratification by scoring ten runs under the Black Hole (Black Hole).
