History

Kina Larsen is an energetic and determined young human who first joined the Breath Mints’ active roster in the Season β14 elections.

In it’s first game of active play with the Breath Mints, Larsen hit a home run into the Big Buckets, a feat no other Breath Mints player had yet been able to achieve. After the game, Larsen informed press that in addition to blaseball, ey enjoyed playing blasketball in hir free time. Larsen also asked if anyone had any almond joys on hand. When told no, Larsen promptly left.

Career as a Seeker

During Season β19, after Larsen became a Seeker, Uncle Plasma began mentoring em as a junior detective, taking it under his wing. A quick and eager learner, Larsen soon found far more investigative success than Plasma, having sought out and returned home numerous Elsewhere players, while Plasma had found exactly zero clues over over the course of his career with the Mints. When asked about Larsen’s talent in comparison to his own, Plasma would only glow with pride, and was said to always keep an almond joy in the pocket of his trenchcoat for the young gumshoe.

In addition to seeking out teammates, Larsen also enjoys searching for wild mint (though it notably avoids spearmint), driftwood, and of course, almond joys.

Larsen is the reigning multi-season champion of the Breath Mints annual scavenger hunt, earning the distrust of Max Betmint, who arranges the games as a test to see who he should be wary of. Though unconfirmed, it is rumored that this may have something to do with Larsen’s relegation to the Breath Mints’ Shadows for several periods during eir career.

Plasma’s Vaulting

During the Season β20 elections, the Boss announced that Plasma and Liquid Friend's Investigation was completed; immediately sending them both to the Vault. Larsen was distraught over the sudden disappearance of hir mentor, and began desperately searching Plasma’s room for clues. In eir search Larsen discovered many stacks of Plasma’s notes, several cups of stale coffee, and a large store of almond joys in a locked chest. However, the only actual clue found was a single red herring.

Larsen has not given up hope in retrieving Plasma, and was reportedly seen determinedly staring towards the Vault alongside replica Uncle Plasma IX during the Breath Mints’ navigation out of the Hall in Season β24, fearless even in the face of the encroaching Horizon.
