Superallergic is a Player Modifications first seen in Season 7.

Effects

Players who are Superallergic, when they swallow a Peanut, they will suffer a terrible Allergic Reaction, affecting their stats in a heavily negative way.

History

When a Player who is Shelled gets freed, they are immediately given the Superallergic modification. This was first seen on Season 7 Day 63, when Jessica Telephone was the first player to get unshelled.

For the rest of the Discipline Era and most of the Expansion Era, Superallergic never got activated. The players avoided swallowing stray Peanuts, and could eventually lose the Superallergic modification via the Ballpark Renovation Peanut Mister.

But during the Season 18 Playoffs, the first instance of Superallergic happened. Nerd Pacheco, pitcher for the Philly Pies who was Superallergic at the time, swallowed a stray peanut on Season 18 Day 105. This results in a Superallergic reaction, which in turned resulted in a combined 15.9 stars -> 0.5 stars stat decrease.
