The map as it appeared on Season 24, Day 28.

The map replaced the depth chart during the Season 24 Earlsiesta as a result of the Commissioner's intervention. Unlike the depth chart, where the position of each team was controlled by eDensity and spin, position on the map was instead controlled by fans voting. Starting on Day 53, the map began to rotate clockwise a small amount each day, such that it would be tilted 45 degrees by the end of Day 99 (resembling a blaseball diamond).

Destinations

Each quadrant of the map corresponded to a different destination, with an icon representing it at the corner. The upper left quadrant was the Vault, represented by Lōotcrates; upper right was the Hall, represented by Pulsar (Pulsar); lower left was the Horizon, represented by Black Hole (Black Hole); and lower right was the Desert, represented by the Reader. In the center was a Supernova Eclipse icon, representing the Boss's location. The starting position of each team on the map matched where they would have been on the depth chart. In lieu of a normal election, fans were able to spend votes to pick one of the four destinations, and at the end of each day each team's icon would move in a direction based on the combined votes of its fans on that day.

When the map was revealed, the Wild and Mild Leagues were replaced on the standings page with the Levil League and the Glood League, with Vault and Horizon subleagues for Levil and Hall and Desert subleagues for Glood. As teams moved to different quadrants, they would appear as part of the corresponding subleague. However, since the full game schedule is generated at the beginning of a season and the postseason did not occur due to later events, these changes had no mechanical effect on Season 24.

Certain events were triggered when a team reached a particular corner. The first time a team reached each corner other than the Horizon, the entity for that destination would speak. Additionally, teams that reached the Desert corner became Scattered and teams that reached the Hall corner after Latesiesta became Deceased.

On Day 82, Black Hole (Black Hole) began to expand outward from its corner. Any teams caught within the event horizon became nullified. The entire map was filled by Day 99, resulting in the nullification of Blaseball itself and the end of the Expansion Era.
