Ego Collides

After York’s death, there was a stirring out in Boston as Nagomi McDaniel made her way to Halifax. From the depth of their shadows she had come to an understanding. An understanding about the way of the world and her place in it. Heedless of the many warnings of her teammates both former and current, she gathered any objects with a strong connection to York, and brought them to Baltimore. When asked later why she chose Baltimore rather than the many teams with a direct tie to the Hall of Flames who had a proven record of necromancy, she simply responded that, “No one in Baltimore would be willing to stop me.”

Nagomi McDaniel, a titan of Blaseball denied ascension, and denied a rest, took the power that had been foisted upon her, and used it to force the immaterial plane to bend to her will. Nagomi McDaniel made a deal, and she will pay a price. It is still not understood exactly what this deal entailed, but with York and Nagomi once again playing for the same team after decades apart, it will be seen what the cost of this transaction was.

An unauthorized recording

The following was acquired from a local celebrity news stations, though for some reason the recording was never able to be aired, and all copies of it were destroyed. A transcript follows.
