A Reprieve in Baltimore

In season 13, Horseman was traded to the Baltimore Crabs in place of Baldwin Breadwinner. After the death of teammate Raúl Leal, Horseman appreciated the opportunity to get some space from their shared abode, but never admitted that it was a motivation for the trade. While these titans of blaseball claimed they were having a "rebuilding year," horseman still stood out as their star hitter - and was one of the few on the team unaffected by their curses. He took in the Baltimore air (possibly too much, as this is also the origins of the reports of his bioluminescence), saw the sights of the city (where he was kicked out of a showing of Crabs), and heard the stories of the team that vanished for nearly a decade.

In the quiet between games one of his new teammates, Kennedy Loser, took a moment to discuss his feelings on the splort, saying that “You can’t control where things end up in this game. No one gets through this unchanged or unscathed. Just appreciate the time you have with them, and be ready to watch them go.” While he still had a lot to process from the last few seasons, Horseman returned home to Miami upon hearing the news regarding the resurrection of both Chorby Soul and York Silk, and the many trials awaiting the Mild Low division, and hoped that his once teammates would not be too scathed by what was to come.
