Davids' eyebrows are often ascribed with the property of having a "luck" field, although Blaseball researchers speculate that the main source of this apparent luck may in fact be the Wild Wings Legal Team, who hypothetically could employ loopholes in the laws of Blaseball to produce certain effects, dependent upon his eyebrow-orientation.

COMMUNITY REPORTS
The remainder of this article contains lore created collaboratively by the Blaseball community.

Boasting massive horns, razor-sharp fangs, and some very impressive pitching skills, Rafael Davids cuts an imposing figure on any pitcher's mound he stands on. It is rumored that Davids is in fact a corporeal apparition from the Realm Beyond Death. These rumors, along with his top-notch pitching ability, have resulted in speculation that his place on the Wild Wings as opposed to the Hades Tigers is a puzzling anomaly, and may be attributed to a clerical error.

During Davids's first several seasons on the team, he appeared to show no real preference for what team he was on, as he focused more on his pitching skills than his actual interactions with the rest of the team. When the emotional barrier they had kept between themself and their team truly vanished is unclear, but after several seasons, Davids found themself developing a closer relationship with the rest of the team.

Nowadays, Davids is known for his wicked breaking balls, extremely good eyebrows, and his witty banter on the mound. They are also known for being an emotional bulwark for the Wings' pitching team. Davids has successfully helped each pitcher with approximately 50 life crises so far, and he hasn't stopped yet.

Before every game, Davids enjoys what he likes to call his "pitching fuel"—an unholy brew involving a sodastream, chili flakes, and a full gallon jug of microwaved milk. The consumption of this drink is viewed with a mixture of awe and revulsion among his teammates.  Whether this is truly the secret to his pitching success is unclear, "Rafael Davids's Five-Second Chug" has become a time-honored pregame tradition among the Wild Wings—it's rumored that the louder his teammates cheer, the better Davids does in games.

This "pitching fuel" has achieved a level of notoriety among Blaseball fans, achieving the nickname "the Spicy Milk". It has become a regular concession at The Bucket, in spite of the administration of The Bucket and The Wild Wings Legal Team making repeated efforts to stop sales, citing health concerns.

Rumors Regarding Vampirism

There have been several incidents during games in which Rafael Davids has siphoned pitching ability from various batters on the field. This has resulted in several rumors that Davids is in fact a vampire. Fellow pitcher Stephanie Winters had this to say when questioned about the events of Season 8, Day 57, in which Davids siphoned a full star of pitching off of Breath Mints batter Lenny Spruce:

Listen, you can’t just ask a guy if he's a vampire or not! Seriously, it's none of your business, and it certainly isn't ours, either. I mean, the guy drinks carbonated milk before every single game: Raf can drink whatever he wants to make his pitching better, and as long as he’s playing well, there's absolutely no problem, okay? End of story.

The Wild Wings Legal Team has repeatedly refused to make a statement on this matter.
