Gamma 4, Season 1 began on January 24, 2022. The first week of the season concluded on December 10, 2021. The regular Season resumed on December 13, 2021 before concluding on February 04, 2022. It was followed by the Postseason and Internet Series on February 04, 2022 through February 06, 2022. The final Election took place on February 06, 2022. The Kansas City Breath Mints defeated the Mexico City Wild Wings 3 wins to 1 to win the Internet Series championship in Gamma 4. This was the second season since The Return to last two real-life weeks.

Notable Events

The Midseason Fiesta

Gamma 4 featured the first Midseason Fiesta with included many new features.

Weather Machine Broke

In the second week of the season several weather effects encountered strange issues where they would activate but be rolled back at the end of the game. This happened with Feedback swaps as well as Night shifts, but most notably caused two Craig Faucet and Ryan Bluff who were incinerated under a Solar Eclipse to continue playing for several games despite being marked as deceased.

How Many Title Belts are there Anyway?

Gamma 4 featured the first implementation of the Title Belt mechanic that was hinted at in the Season 13 Election.

Gamma 4 featured a new election system that involved many smaller elections being held over the course of the season. Wills and Amplifications were also separated into "team specific elections". This allowed for Blessings to be granted over the course of the season, with the Blood Jam blessings in particular having several "Volumes" in single hour elections.
