Gamma 3 is the 2nd full Short Circuit and the 3rd overall. It began on December 6, 2021, and concluded on December 9, 2021 when the Microphone shorted out. It composed of 1 season lasting two weeks. It saw the introduction of A Shelled One, the Tutorial, Mild Cards, Snow, and a new schedule.

Gamma 3 was annouced on the November 15, 2021 Inside a Blaseball livestream.[2][3]
