John

Emblem "John" Warhorse, or "John" is that person you swear you know. Sporting the emblem sewn up to a bunch of their ties, they are an office worker for a software tech company. They are a simple person in their 40's that likes simple things: a stroll around nature, comfortable weather and every now and then a drink in The Emblem Warhorse.

Even though it's been known that they were an usual customer before becoming a patron, they usually went unnoticed. Ordering simple drinks or food and always leaving when The Emblem Warhorse started to nudge them out. That is until one day every patron found themselves not feeling like it was anyone's turn to play, only to see John still sitting inside the establishment, drinking the water back from their beer 10 minutes before the time to leave for the match.

That day John decided it was worth it to try something new, and has said that they surprised themselves enjoying playing with the Seattle Garages. Since then they have become a patron of the establishment, and decided to take up more hobbies to see if that spark happened again. It is known that they keep participating in the drag shows running at The Emblem Warhorse, Theodore Duende's hiking team and the chess matches that are played at The Emblem Warhorse, enjoying specially the ones with Jon. They have tried to join The Emblem Warhorse band, but quitted after having problems "Comprehending anything that was not 120 beats per minute and 4/4 rhythms.".

While officially being a patron, they have taken a more passive role towards the establishment, still considering themselves just a client more. They have, however, been seen hanging out with both the patrons and the Garages, reportedly having grown close to Grampa Warhorse and Mori, and helping out where and who they can. Spending time with both has allowed them to start to discover themselves a bit more, having taken they/them pronouns recently.

When playing, they usually try to make their at bats as orderly as possible, aiming to get four balls in a row if possible or hitting singles to fill all the bases.

No one knows John’s real name and, contrary to how they usually act, it’s been reported that they find the mystery “Very entertaining.”. Other patrons report that John has decided to keep their name a secret from their group and the Seattle Garages.
