Smooth is a Player Modification, first seen in the Season 13 Elections and given out by the Peanut Butter Blessing.
Effects
A Smooth batter's Speed is increased by 100% during Peanut weather, generally increasing their skill at moving around the bases.
Chunky has no effect on pitchers.
History
Season 13
During Season 13, the Blessing Peanut Butter was offered, and won by the Hellmouth Sunbeams. Kaj Statter Jr. became Smooth, while Igneus Delacruz became Chunky due to the blessing.
With the introduction of a new Item system from Season 15 onward, Items have a chance of spawning with Modification-granting Elements. The first Smooth-conferring Item dropped on Day 72, Season 18, in a Prize Match between the Hawai'i Fridays and the Core Mechanics. The Fridays won 3.1-0, and Mordecai Kingbird gained the Smooth Helmet.
