Scattered is a Player and Team Modification first seen in Season 13.
Effects
Players will become Scattered if they spend 18+ days Elsewhere. Once the Players come back from Elsewhere, they will become Scattered. Players who are Scattered will not have their full name. Parts of their name will be missing, and they will regain those letters back overtime. Once a Player has regained all their letters, they will lose the Scattered modification.
History
Early Expansion Era
The Elsewhere modification was first seen in Season 12 when Flooding Weather first appeared. But Scattered was not seen until Season 13 Day 1, when Beasley Day came back from being swept Elsewhere in Season 12 and was Scattered to -easley Day via the following message:
Beasley Day has returned from Elsewhere after one Season!
-easley Day was Scattered...
This would continue throughout the Expansion Era, as some Players continued getting swept Elsewhere for long periods of time and would come back Scattered.

Season 24
During Season 24, Fans had the option to pilot their Teams towards The Desert and The Reader. Once a Team would hit the exact corner of X: -1.00 and Y: -1.00, they would TOUCH DOWN and become Scattered, which not only fully Scattered the Team name, but would fully Scatter the names of all the players on the team, including those in the Shadows. This is the first instance of Scattered being seen as a Team Modification. The following teams would become Scattered:
