Flood Bath is a Team Modification, granted to the Canada Moist Talkers during the Season β23 election as a result of Based Evolution.

Slippery is a Player Modification, first seen on Season β24, Day 52 as a result of Flood Bath.

Effects

Whenever a player on a Team with Flood Bath is cleared from the bases as a result of Flooding weather, and the player is not swept Elsewhere, they will receive the Slippery modification until the end of the game.

Whenever a player with Slippery scores a run, and if there is no player on first base, the player will immediately take first base with the flavor text "X slips and slides to first!".

History

During the Season β23 Election, the Canada Moist Talkers Evolved due to Based Evolution, which granted the team the Flood Bath modification as their evolution modification.

The conditions of the modification were not met until Season 24, Day 52 when in the bottom of the second inning, London Simmons was swept from the bases by Flooding, and was given the Slippery modification. Simmons would use the modification once during the game, before Slippery faded at the end of the game. Simmons was also the only player to benefit from Flood Bath and Slippery during Season 24.
