Blaseball is a splort. Blaseball was discovered at the beginning of Season 1, however it is unclear exactly how long it has existed.

Some speculate Blaseball has always existed, yet others philosophise that Blaseball was spawned in humanity's darkest hour to absolve it from the sins of their hubris.

All scholars agree however, that The Commissioner is doing a great job!

How a Season works

Blaseball is played between two Teams, across two Leagues and follows rules similar to the ancient sport of ██████ which was outlawed in the year XX1.

The splort consists of a Season, made up of 99 games across 5 days (Monday to Friday)

Games occur every hour between two teams, the team with the higher score is declared the winner.

Each team has a Win-Loss ratio and at the end of the Season, the four best teams from each league move onto Postseason (Saturday)

Postseason is a best-of-five game series between the 8 teams with the winner being declared the same day.

The Season concludes with the annual Internet Series.

Sunday is The Slabbath and no splorts shall take place that day.

Blaseball Participation

Fans of Blaseball (Participants) can bet Blaseball Coins on who they think will win upcoming matches. If the team chosen wins, the participant will earn back double their initial bet plus potentially more if the team chosen is performing poorly.

Throughout each Season, participants can vote in the Election to change rules through decrees or give blessings to their favorite team. Each Sunday the votes are tallied at the end of the day and the highest voted changes are carried out, potentially changing the game entirely.

Participants can vote multiple times and can spend coins to purchase more votes in the Shop.
