Beta/Season 3

Season 3 of Internet League Baseball began on Monday, August 3, 2020. The regular season is scheduled to end on Friday, August 7, 2020. The postseason is scheduled to start on Saturday, August 8, 2020. The Internet Series is scheduled to start on Saturday, August 8 2020. It is the second season of the Discipline Era, and the first season of the Peanut Plague.

Ongoing Decrees

Following the Season 2 Election, the following decrees are in place for Season 3:

• Fourth Strike: All Batters on the bottom four teams of the previous Season's standings gain a Fourth Strike. It will take four strikes to strike them out, as opposed to three for every other team. The teams with a Fourth Strike for Season 3 are the New York Millennials, the Kansas City Breath Mints, the Hellmouth Sunbeams and the San Francisco Lovers
• Peanuts: Peanuts

Notable Events

• 

  The Blasphemy Peanut screen displayed following the detected Peanut Fraud. The letters have been highlighted for clarity.
  On Day 2, play was interrupted following the discovery of Peanut Fraud. Internet League Baseball officials have announced play would not resume until the peanut cheaters have repented. Due to the inevitability of blaseball, play has resumed; however the peanut cheaters have not come forward. This indignity shall live on forever in the memory of the Blaseball Gods. From this point on the Peanut Plague was replaced by Uncertainty. This also marked the beginning of 'flocks of birds' as a weather type alongside Peanuts and Solar Eclipse.
• During the Blaseball downtime the website was replaced with a large rotating image of a Peanut, below it in red text was the word 'BLASPHEMY' and a series of letters in a dark grey colour. It was speculated by fans that these may have been some sort of code or cipher.

Blessings

Each Blessing will be awarded to a randomly selected player or team based. Votes from a team's fans increase the likelihood of that team receiving a blessing.

Team-Building Exercise	Re-rolls your team's three worst players
Summoning Circle	Re-rolls your team's 3 worst hitters
