Rumor / Community Lore
This article contains lore created collaboratively by the Blaseball community. It is just one of many Rumors that we've found in the Interdimensional Rumor Mill. You can find more Rumors about Jacoby Podcast at their Rumor Registry.

Origins

Much of Jacoby's history before joining the Crabs is unclear and could unfortunately only be taken at her word leading to what might be a somewhat unreliable personal history. According to Jacoby she was "a integral part of the Shelled One Pods," and was "vital to the success of any and all plans that were carried out by the Shelled One himself". She will then go on to describe how she was "carelessly cast off by the uncaring and cruel god, and left alone in this cold and unforgiving world." Naturally she decided to move on with her life by picking up the time honoured splort of blaseball.

Joining the Baltimore Crabs

After being cast off from the pods Jacoby joined forces with the Baltimore Crabs as they returned from their time in the Big Leagues. Drawn to their history of god killing she swore to take revenge to take vengeance on all Gods for being left behind. Privately, teammate Baldwin Breadwinner has commented that she thinks this sounds more like a "bad breakup, and she'll probably get over it, but I'm glad she's at least cheerful about it." She does however seem to be a favourite of Evelton McBlase II, who was happy to gain someone as enthusiastic about elaborate schemes and pointy collars as he was.

Other Crabs describe Jacoby as an excellent pitcher, but one that spends a lot of time asking about the Crab's experience in the Big Leagues, and if there were any other, cooler gods there that might be interested in a sidekick.

Podcasting

Jacoby does not know what a podcast is and wishes people would stop asking her that.
