Eleanor “Lenny” Marijuana is the youngest sister to Dominic and Randall Marijuana. Like her brothers, she spent her childhood playing Blittle League. The three of them were close and went to games together often.

Life in the Shadows

When Dominic and Randall signed ILB contracts, Lenny was quick to follow in their footsteps. Unfortunately, her contract had an additional shadow clause. While she thought she was signing up to pitch for the Seattle Garages, she quickly realized that she was trapped in the shadows and couldn’t contact her brothers anymore.

Marijuana spent much of her time getting to know her fellow shadowed players, and developed a close friendship with Chorby Short. She rarely visited her brothers out of fear that they wouldn’t recognize her, but kept a close eye on their games. Instead she went to other teams’ games, in particular the Garages. She also began learning to play bass guitar to prepare for the day she joined the Garages’ active roster and the band.

After Mike Townsend retreated to the shadows, he and Marijuana became fast friends. Townsend helped her learn to play bass. In return she pierced his ears and gave him a raging infection, cementing their friendship. The two of them could often be found going to Garages games, baking together, or giving one another piercings or tattoos.

Unshadowing

Marijuana was randomly chosen to join the Garages’ pitching roster in the Season 9 elections. Having spent several seasons in the shadows, she was incredibly disoriented to rejoin society and deal with things such as fans asking about her brothers, and having to pay at restaurants instead of dining and dashing.

Her transition was made easier by Townsend coming with her, acting as a buffer between herself and the rest of the team. The two of them became close with new pitcher Betsy Trombone, who began baking with them. Marijuana was disheartened to discover that the Garages already had a bassist, and quickly dedicated herself to learning the glockenspiel. She plays both instruments for the band.

After her brothers’ release, Marijuana was visibly more excited about playing blaseball. Reporters overheard her telling Trombone that she was relieved to know they wouldn’t have to play anymore. Marijuana was later a batter in the inaugural Coffee Cup. She hit one single, which she dedicated to both Dominic and Randall.

Marijuana can be found in Seattle at live music shows, visiting tattoo shops, or baking for the rest of the team. She is always clearly visible, because her hair is a brightly colored mullet.
