The Gunblade Bats are a class of legendary bats, forged by the collective wishes of the fans when the time is right and the grass is green. The gun functionality to their name varies from case to case. Some use a explosive charge to accelerate the bat for extreme power on the swing. Others will seem to have an intelligence of their own, whether through an advanced machine learning processor, or a bound spirit. Recently uncovered records suggest that the original Prime Gunblade Bat was used to hit the First Pitch. The whereabouts of Prime Gunblade Bat are unknown, though rumors speak of a blackened sharp rod in the collection of the Blaseball Commissioner.
