Ideas

• A representation of the entire state of Washington? Like an an amalgam of all of the citizens of the state of Washington? I I like the minotaur/large horned creature better. I withdraw this idea -HSOJ

• Helga came down from their Mountainside home to show Pudge how to actually play Blaseball, after Pudge accidentally wandered in to Helga's garden signing he was from the KCBM, and he was very very lost. Helga was going to just point Pudge in the right direction to get home, but Pudge gave Helga a great hug, and she was convinced she needed to show Pudge how to actually play Blaseball.

• Additionally, it is rumoured that Helga picks up Lenny Spruce, a fellow batter for the KCBM, and uses him as her Bat. Since she has not yet played, this can neither be confirmed nor denied. This may have just been a training mis-hap.

Helga Collective

The Lovers are in the process of finalizing something we've had in the works for a few weeks called the Helga Collective. Until just now we've had a monopoly on players called Helga (we had two of them, who batted back to back) but we always planned on including other Helgas in this if possible. Our Helgas were originally written as "It's the same person but they change outfits between bats and pretend to be a different person." gag, which then evolved into them having one consciousness but two bodies. This then turned into the Helga Collective, which is a a hivemind across the entire planet that every single person/thing/mountain/etc. named Helga is connected to. Each Helga retains their individual features, autonomy, etc. if they desire, but they're also part of a greater system (which could really amount to absolutely nothing for your lore, and just relegated to the trivia section.) Would you be alright adding your Helga to the bunch?

We've known about this Helga in the shadows for quite some time, but didn't want to bring it up with you until after it was public knowledge. We'd love to collaborate with you on this, even if it's just a tiny part of your Helga's character.MEMANIAsama (talk) 04:08, 19 October 2020 (UTC)

Response to Helga Collective request: "I can't speak with the full authority of Mints fandom but I love this idea and lore. Perhaps it is just my love of the idea of hiveminds but I think this should be incorporated into this player. I would willing to potentially work on further development of the Helga hivemind and their relationship to this Helga." - HotSliceOfJesus

Awesome! We'd love to work with you, feel free to stop into the Lovers channel anytime to discuss (we can make a separate google doc to collab ideas in if that works easier for you.) Article Draft

Helga Washington is a lineup player for the Kansas City Breath Mints, and has been with the team since the Season 10 elections. Washington was called up to Breath Mints from the Shadows as a result of the Hidden Power Blessing in her place Marquez Clark retreated into The Shadows.

Washington has been described as a veritable mountain of a creature with many horn like appendages. Her large hulking appearance is often something of a shock for fans attending their first game. Her appearance is frequently described as: "Minotaur or Oni like." Helga's multiple horns, or "corns" as Washington prefers them to be called are known to strike fear in the hearts of her foes. Washington has become known for her powerful play style frequently taking heavy swings at pitches in an effort to "pulverize" the ball. Washington's at bats are known league wide for dramatic results with foul balls or homers often ending up in low earth orbit.

Journey to the Mints

During an away game to The Seattle Garages Mints player Pudge Nakamoto was wandering around Mt. Rainier, this is believed to have happened when Nakamoto continued to run out of The Big Garage following a hit and got lost looking for first base. While wandering the woods Nakamoto encountered Washington at her garden residence among the mountains, Nakamoto signed that she was very lost and a player for the Kansas City Breath Mints Blaseball team. Washington was about to simply point Nakamoto in the correct direction however Nakamoto hugged Washington so greatly that Washington decided to take it upon herself to teach Nakamoto how to actually play the game of blaseball.

Unsubstantiated Rumors

• Washington was going to be a recruit for the Seattle Garages when the team hearing of a large blaseball playing creature living in the mountains near Seattle. However, a series of mistakes starting with boarding the wrong bus and then a plane led Washington to Kansas City where upon seeing Pudge Nakamoto decided to sign on into the shadows for the Mints.

• Washington likes to consume a large bucket of fish before each game, luckily the Mints had a large amount of kippers that were labeled "Propery of Marquez Clark." Marquez Clark could not be reached for comment on the matter.

• Washington has been seen at least once wielding Lenny Spruce as a bat. As this has not happened in a game to date it is uncertain if this is going to be used in an official game as a strategy or if this was simply a mishap in training.

• Washington is rumored to have a connection with San Francisco Lovers players: Helga Moreno and Helga Burton and investigation is still pending.
