Overview

The Chesapeake Bay Shell is believed to be the Remains of a deceased god resting on the floor of the Chesapeake Bay. The origin and nature of these remains is widely disputed among Baltimore natives and researchers alike, however many traits are consistent between reports: the Chesapeake Bay Shell is an be organic, rotting shell emits a sour, rancid odor attracting Lots of Birds to the surrounding area.

History

Prior to its death the god which became the Chesapeake Bay Shell had both Blessed and Cursed members of the Baltimore Crabs, however the blessings have been largely glossed over and a majority of the population resented this god for the Curses placed on those either deemed unworthy or The Chesapeake Bay Shell in its current state is believed to predate the return of Blaseball, the god in question is believed to have been slain through the collective effort of players, many of which are no longer in active play, and Fans.

Commercial Use

These remains were removed from the construction site of the Chesapeake Racetrack and Ballpark prior to its construction under direction of League Ownership. Components not fully swept into the Bay were saved and sold at exorbitant price for use in Ballpark Renovations across the league with the Baltimore Crabs and Hellmouth Sunbeams, among others, electing to make use of these remains as construction components.
