Tartarus is both a city in Hades and a primordial deity.
It is best known for its Sixth Circle Stadium, home of the Hades Tigers franchise, located deep within the abyssal pit of the downtown area.
The climate in Tartarus is described by locals as consisting of hellish summers and mild winters.
History
Originally, Tartarus was used only to confine dangers to the gods of Gods of Blaseball. When it became apparent that no such dangers could logically exist, the area was repurposed to house the souls of the damned.
In time, it grew into a sprawling metropolis with a thriving arts and music scene, and its own blaseball team.
