Day X is a unique date in Season 9 where, following the Internet Series, The Shelled One appeared to initial a battle against the champions of Season 9, the Charleston Shoe Thieves.

Following the conclusion of Game 5 of the Season 9 Internet Series in which the Charleston Shoe Thieves won the championship, a new alert came on over the website.

At the same time, the rolling ticker across the top of the screen went blank before a new series of messages appeared:

Then, The Shelled One appeared to deliver it's first message since declaring Fourth Strike.

Boss Fight
At this point, The Shelled One revealed its punishment: a battle between the Charleston Shoe Thieves and THE SHELLED ONE'S PODS, a brand new team composed entirely of players who were Shelled and The Three Peanuts.
