Lottie Ceilingfan is a cat, presumably. Tigers management can confirm she is at least the front half of a cat. However, Lottie only and exclusively emerges from a moveable hole in the ceiling of Sixth Circle Stadium, and never completely, so her back half has never been seen. Lottie is usually upside down, hanging from the roof like a bat, but will appear our of floor-holes to bat, though it does not appear she enjoys doing so.
Lottie appeared shortly after season 21, when she wandered onto the field, tiny bat already in hand. When the team was asked why a cat was currently taking swings at the practice cage, pitcher Hiroto Wilcox responded, "Oh, that's my cat," and neglected to elaborate further.
