Second Pitch?

I've been thinking a lot about First Pitch and Ascension, and the common conception that Ascension is somewhat similar to Human Instrumentality from Neon Genesis Evangelion/End of Evangelion. In NGE/EoE, Human Instrumentality is initiated by Third Impact, and there are two events known as First Impact and Second Impact. First Impact was an event that occurred in prehistoric times and resulted in the genesis of all Lilith-based life (that is, all life on Earth as we know it). Second Impact was an event that occurred in modern times which resulted in the devastation of the local area.
So, there's an obvious parallel between First Pitch and First Impact. And with the potential parallel between Ascension and Human Instrumentality, this would imply that Ascension will be initiated by Third Pitch. So this raises the obvious question of Second Pitch, which brings me to my actual point.
I propose that Second Pitch would be the pitch thrown by Lee Davenport Wyatt Mason Wyatt Dovenpart to Morrow "Doc" Doyle during the Top of the 15th Inning of Day 73 of Season 3. That is, the pitch that resulted in The Grand Unslam, which ultimately tore open reality in Los Angeles, the city in which it occurred, which obviously gives it some parallels to Second Impact.
So, what do you fine folks think? Does this make sense? Do you agree? And, if so, would it be okay for me to add some reference to this possibility on this page and/or on The Grand Unslam? - DL Draco Rex (talk) 18:37, 11 October 2020 (UTC)
