Gia's Origins (nothing solidified possible grounds for an IRM)
- Gia may have been called to the Core, similarly to other Mechanics
- Originated from cyberspace instead of “meatspace”
- Gia could actually be a community of various viruses in harmony rather than a single AI
- This may lead to an interesting conversation with Bees Taswell
- Possible Gia backstory starting as a Core calendar program
- She began gaining sentience slowly
- She gave signs of her sentience though print outs
- She sought a body and freedom
- She keeps this first body for good memories
- She immediately took interest in experiencing the world she had been helping to schedule first-hand.
- Gia could have been one of many intelligences that fragmented from a single massive AI
- There may be early versions of Gia present around the Core, but they are more so seen as siblings/cousins of Gia.
- Gia originated from the connected consciousnesses of semi-sentient devices
- They linked together to form a more complex and powerful network (with limitations)
- With experience the network matured
- Gia’s last name idea
- A story involving someone jumping over a “whole brook”
- She thought it would be a cool name
