Paula Turnip
Paula Turnip is a bog dryad, businesswoman, and batter for the Hades Tigers. After walking into the field at the beginning of Game 2 in Day 110 of Season 3, she became the final host for Landry Violence before his tragic incineration, when Landry sacrificed himself to save her life. In that moment, the energy of Violence flowing through her, she vowed to take revenge for Landry, and took up his bat. In her first appearance she was caught stealing third, proving to the rest of the team that she really was a Tiger, and they accepted her with open arms.
The fire of incineration seared a braise of Landry's iconic patch into her back, and she wears it as a badge of honor in her quest to carry on the works of Violence. The brand smolders eternally, without spreading or causing her any pain, illuminating an equally-firey conviction in her eyes.
Before her possession/blaseball career she could be found on various islands peddling her eponymous turnips. These days she continues this business, but only on the off-season and only under a pseudonym. It is thought her underworld connections have something to do with her ability to seemingly appear on multiple islands at once.
