Hobbs Cain is a player for the Canada Moist Talkers.

Cain was recently described as a "triple threat" in the Halifax Gazette.

When asked about his prior sporting experience, Cain stated that the rules of Blaseball were ‘much simpler’ than he was used to, and cited a game played between Hobbs and his best friend in their youth. No amount of rules explanation reduced the interviewer’s confusion as to the nature of said game, but the consensus was reached that it was, indeed, a deeply complex splort and definitely earned Cain a place on the Moist Talkers’ batting lineup.

The Leviathan

Hobbs Cain rarely hits harder than a single, but upon reviewing bootleg Moist Talker footage, fans have identified the serendipitous appearance of a massive Phycodurus eques emerging from the clouds, circling above the arena and then disappearing into the misty heavens. Cain spoke quite frankly on the connection in an ensuing press release by explaing that "Well of course I hit better when the Leviathan appears. That's how I know I have it's favor."
