Originally hailing from the [[Hellmouth Sunbeams|Hellmouth]], Forrest's path to blaseball stardom began when his parents perished in the Hellmouth eruption of XX09. Forrest kept out of trouble by studying finance while he made his way through the foster system. He eventually joined his mentor [[Cornelius Games]]'s "blaseball team" front organization, then unnamed, as a trainee accountant. After earning his last name with skilled book-keeping, he found himself thrust onto the mound in an attempt to live up to Games's high hopes.
