Edric Tosser is a player for the [[Chicago Firefighters]].  When he was born, everyone within a 60 mile radius received a painful vision which prophesied that Edric would be the greatest pitcher that ever lived, died, or potentially existed.  In direct defiance of predetermination, prophecy, and the cosmos itself, they have never thrown a pitch in his life, and instead became a mediocre batter for the Firefighters.
