Canada is a country in the northern part of North America. It stretches from the Atlantic Ocean in the east and shares its southern border with the United States of America. The status of its western border is political uncertain, with a territorial dispute over the Rocky Mountain City States. Canada has not recognized the secession of the City-States.

Canada is a constitutional monarchy, led by a monarch and a prime minister, both of whom are currently in hiding. As such, while the monarch and prime minister are Canada's de jure leaders, the de facto head of state is the Governor-General, noted folk singer Avril Lavigne.
