Topic on Talk:Elijah Valenzuela

I have a lot of concerns about the early parts of the background section. I'm too busy to vibe check it at the moment so I'm just going to do some typographical corrections, but via ongoing discussion with the Fridays on Discord regarding the Sovereign Nation of Hawai'i page, I think some of the backstory must be rewritten to accommodate for the new direction. I'll post some ideas when I have time to work them out.

As a jazz hands fan, I look forward to what you come up with. I've definitely also had some concerns about Elijah's early background - especially regarding the apparent implication within it that he is not (or not explicitly) native Hawaiian, while having a pivotal role within a revolutionary movement that is probably best left to the indigenous Hawaiians that the current Sovereign Nation page itself points to as the ones the structure of the new nation is created in tandem with (though I am aware you are discussing how to change that page). Also his unawareness of the nature of pineapple farming in Hawai'i despite being a farmer and presumably someone born and raised in Hawai'i (especially if it is later made explicit that perhaps he is a Native Hawaiian person) seems Odd, to me at least.
