Zi Sliders (Pronouns Ze/Hir or They/Them) is a forest firefighter, extreme sports fan, and pitcher for the Chicago Firefighters. Sliders's full name is 紫羅蘭, and hir family tends to call them 紫.
- Before Blaseball***
Sliders grew up waiting for The Call, the siren song that comes to all Firefighters. Growing up, ze'd sit at hir desk and daydream about being able to fight fires with the best of them. After ze hit adulthood, ze decided that waiting wasn't enough. If The Call wasn't gonna come to hir, ze was gonna go to it.
Ze picked up hir grandma's jacket and smoking habit, along with his water scooper plane the Hou Yi and set to the skies. Ze's fought fires across the mountainous regions of western Chicago and pacific coastal Chicago.
Ze made it onto the Firefighters shadow bench early on in our understanding of Blaseball, but didn't hear The Call until Season 21, when ze was faxed in for Kennedy Rodgers.
- Blaseball Career***
Slider’s was faxed in for fan favorite Kennedy Rodgers and played 5 riveting games with the team before being replaced for Alston England. Sliders reportedly exclaimed “are you kidding me” as ze was faxed out.
On Day 2 of Season 22, they faxed back in after Alston gave up a 4 point homer to the Sunbeams. Sliders reportedly parachuted into the field from their plane, leaving it flying in a holding pattern above the Firehouse.
- Team Relations***
Sliders Sliders is a bit of a slob- ze enjoys to sit around and watch garbage sci-fi movies and will tell you about ALL the trivia that comes with them. Hir family will tell hir "ze eats like hir grandma". ze will snack at all times and will make huge meals for whoever will eat, which has caused hir to take up the title of "grill master" at the Firehouse Cook Outs, where ze is a huge hit.
Sliders enjoys hanging out with the "olds" more so then the people hir age. Ze tends to have a bit more of a world weary energy and likes to just relax with Douglas and Geepa.
Sliders smokes after games and rolls hir own cigarettes.
