Chorby Short and the Frumple Rumbles

After a series hard fought games between the Pies and the Yellowstone Magic in the Season 14 playoffs, an intense rivalry formed between Chorby Short and Huber & Frumple. In order to settle their scores, the three players have resorted to duking it out in street fights that have since been dubbed “the Frumple Rumbles.”

The Frumple Rumbles take place after each Pies/Magic game in the parking lot of the ice cream store closest to the stadium. Each rumble consists of Chorby and Huber & Frumple trying to bop each other in the head with squeaky, inflatable hammers. Observers have noted that the fights are inherently unfair since Huber & Frumple have two heads, a fact that makes the one-headed Chorby absolutely ballistic. The rumble ends when someone cries uncle.

The Frumple Rumbles are popular with local children, who cheer on the fighters while enjoying ice cream treats. The winner of the rumble has to buy the loser ice cream. Chorby's favorite part is the ice cream.

Chorby's teammate Francisco Preston also claims to be in a rivalry with Huber & Frumple but so far he is the only one who acknowledges it.

Summarizing what's been suggested in the server: 100% yes to the "Francisco is one-sided rivals with H&F". Additionally people have been suggesting that Chorby doesn't view the rumbles as the result of a rivalry and sees it as more of a game/bonding exercise instead. Thus there's a fun line of miscommunication where this "rivalry" is more like Dad squinting his eyes at H&F, H&F squinting their(?) eyes at Chorby, and Chorby obliviously having a good time.

I didn't think I'd like the idea of a chorby rivalry, but you've convinced me. Chorby going along with it to win free ice cream fits perfectly with my image of her.

I think this is absolutely perfect with the inflatable hammers. Chorby's really in it for the ice cream because she's a little gremlin. It might be fun to put something on Chorby's page about it but make it from her side like she doesn't really "get" the rivalry, she just gets together with her friends to play with hammers and eat ice cream.

Love this! I like the idea that whichever team is home has a natural advantage, because they don't have to get on the team bus to head home/to the hotel, but there is an occasional upset (perhaps an inflatable hammer pops, which is a forfeit).

Don't think my contribution to this is a must-have in the irm tho! it's just cute.
