Talk:Moon Roomba/Archive

From Blaseball Wiki

I'm in love with the idea that moon roomba is following a shuttle blaring music too loud, hurtling down to the surface of earth, reality fragmenting around them, but not noticing anything other than "YOU GUYS BETTER TURN THAT MUSIC DOWN OR ELSE"

=== A small snippet I wrote

the fragment of the moon splashes down in the middle of the pacific ocean with a mighty crash and a mighty splash. moon roomba vaporizes some of the massive splash cloud because the noise is too loud, inadvertently saving many pacific islands from what would have been massive tsunamis. it brushes some dust off its nonexistent shoulders with its self-clean feature. it turns around to point itself back towards space, only to notice there's no moon anymore. it's just gone. moon roomba's small pointed frame trembles slightly. it rocks back and forth on the ground of a completely new planet with a completely new sound-transmitting atmosphere it's never experienced before. The moon wasn't clean yet, and now it never will be. Faintly, moon roomba knows there's work to do. There's ghosts to guard, small fragments of moon still in orbit, and dust to clean. But right now, it can't quite bring itself to move.

=== Moon Roomba's Personality, Post-Black Hole

Amadis wrote this: moon roomba can wanderer the utah desert, finally free. Telling the coyotes to shhh. It eventually collects a whole pack of unnaturally quiet scrappy little predator-scavengers that bring it offerings of bones. Maybe it can be good friends and do science with Cory 12 since we're antirivals with the Magic now

moonba suddenly cares a lot more about blaseball after its shenanigans destroyed its home

remember that "what the heck is happening. i dont understand. it sounds interesting but i just dont understand" feeling you had when you first heard about blaseball? moon roomba is like that

it followed a shuttle down to earth because it was blaring loud music, turned around, and now its home is gone and its purpose in life is missing and it's really scared and confused and everything's too loud...

but it's nice and warm in the hellmouth and it gets pet sometimes and it's slowly learning more about this new world it finds itself in. maybe sometime it can bring itself to watch a game or two (from afar, so it can't hear the crowd), and start cautiously and silently cheering on the players who pet it the most

the world is a confusing place. sometimes too confusing. but players who are ghosts? moon roomba knows ghosts. maybe watching a player who's a ghost (are there any?) step up to the plate is what makes them first interested in blaseball

i imagine moon roomba's personality is: - very introvert. impossible for it to be lonely. it was on the moon for millennia

- extremely sensitive to noise and overstimulus
- lost. confused. misunderstands practically everything on earth and what it does and what it's supposed to do. but also slowly growing fascinated with all these things on earth
- appreciates ghosts. they're good company
- talks in all lowercase when not brrrring
- I don't understand blaseball. but i will
- can and will laser things it doesn't like, but you have to get above a certain threshold of annoyance. doesn't think it's a big deal to incinerate an ump or anything, just normal days of life
- loves the color gray, because moon

They mainly threaten players who tweet in all caps but then sometimes just tweets really sad stuff that breaks your little heart

"today i found out that door handles unlock doors. i had to sit on the door handle to get it to open but inside was very quiet and dark. i liked the broom a lot. maybe i will go back"
