As we've witnessed in season 23, Melton tends to deny the team voicemails, mostly via solo home runs or sacrifice plays. Lore wise, we talked about Melton working with KTGI before, and this led us to the idea of Melton answering the phones, never "letting it go to voicemail." We chant WHATSOUP whenever it scores, much like one says "whats up" when answering the phone. Another fun connection is with those soup can telephones, with a string tied to both ends that lets you talk between them.
