I was just poking through the Wiki pages for our current roster, and realized that good ol' Elip Dean is the only existing Tiger who made it back to our team! Got sucked up from the shadows and plopped back out onto the active roster. In fact, according to the wiki page, he's been with the team (in the shadows) since the beginning, not doing a whole lot of much except training.
This immediately conjured the head-canon that he's that one quiet guy who's been on the team since it was formed, been there through all the victories, losses, and chaos and no one ever noticed. Maybe he's invisible, maybe he's unremarkable, maybe he's just super awkward and kind of incompetent so everyone just ignored him. But he's always been here. Loyal. Getting Stronger.
Now that the entire Hades team has been lost to the black hole, completely replaced by a confused cadre of new cadets, Elip Dean has stepped up and out of the shadows to welcome them, train them up, and keep the continuity of the team! Under Elip's weird, quiet (and seemingly incompetent) leadership, the New Tigers are taking the field and quickly proving themselves... the worst in their bracket.
But the spirit of the team is maintained! New stripes, one Tiger!
