- 20 Sept 2020, approx 18:30 UTC - Hawaii Fridays fan joined #jazzhands to prompt lore discussion about the transition process of Elijah Valenzuela between from the Fridays to the Jazz Hands. Over the course of ~30 minutes, the following rough lore was established with the Fridays representative:
- Valenzuela had basically punched out all cops on Hawai'i
- Valenzuela & Steph Weeks met & hit it off duing Party Time, as Weeks had visited the Fridays' side-party to reconnect with his Native Hawaiian heritage
- Valenzuela recognized that Weeks needed support in Breckenridge. At the same time, Aldon Cashmoney wanted to head to the Fridays to learn to vibe better after Open Mic Night, so Valenzuela offered to take vis place. Alyssa Harrell is taking over Elijah's remaining responsibilities.
- 21 Sept 2020, approx 02:00 UTC - Lore writing resumes. Elijah is nicknamed Cap'n by the team & fans, in reference to the Fridays calling him Captain. Poll to give Cap'n a ship was in favor 9-2, so the Jazz Hands assume the nickname means he 1) knows how to pilot a ship & 2) wants a ship, so they give him an airship as a welcoming gift. Presumably, he does not actually know how to pilot an airship, nor desire it. Next poll, about shipping Valenzuela & Weeks together (which the Fridays' rep had also suggested), favored the ship 6-0 assuming it was done as a small thing. Draft lore write-up was proposed 03:39 UTC, edited to make Valenzuela's relationship with Weeks more explicit, finalized 04:02 UTC.
