In light of the recent discussion of Malik Destiny on him main talkpage I propose removing the two quoted lines below from this page. Additionally, it would be nice for Destiny to enjoy watching magic shows. However this part does not need to be added into any current pages. Just a nice thought.

"The following non-members were present: Malik Destiny. Destiny was subsequently removed from the room and banned from future union meetings for the seventh time." "(3:38) Discussion briefly placed on hold while Malik Destiny was again removed from the room and banned from future union meetings for the eighth time."

Hi! Thank you so much for pointing this out, that's a good idea to remove that portion.

I was talking in the Big Garage and we thought it might be cool to replace it with a sentence adding that Malik is an honorary member of the union, due to his established interest in activism and unions in general, though he does not do stage magic himself and is there somewhat more for support/solidarity. We might also be able to get a sentence in on his main page somewhere about him learning some sleight of hand and watching the group's magic shows, but that would probably fit more on his page than this one.

So the sentence would read like:

"The following honorary members were present: Malik Destiny.

Addendum: Though not a stage magician by trade, Destiny is registered to attend meetings to discuss organizing tactics."

I'm also glad to make the edit to this page tomorrow once the 24hr period has gone up if you would like! If there's any issues with this proposed addition though I'm glad to change it.
