the gist of her involvement is a vignette IRM entry in the form of "meeting minutes" from abner's magicians' union; though not a magician, mint joined to learn some sleight of hand tricks and ended up becoming involved in the chaotic arguments that can easily sprout from union meetings. the relevant text is here:
(4:20) New business: Mint Shupe called attention to the time and proposed a resolution to alter the flow of time in the Immaterial Plane to magically alter time such that hours would be seventy minutes long, so that clocks could say 69 sometimes.
