From Blaseball Wiki

Originally a member of a research group in Bridgeport, CT focused on the study of different universes and planes, most people know Grampa Warhorse as a jovial old man who treats them like they’re one of his grandchildren. He has been a patron of the Emblem Warhorse for a few years, starting shortly after he moved to Seattle for his retirement. The mark to prove it can often be found on the breast pocket of his shirt. He had first heard of the Emblem Warhorse through a friend and former colleague, and managed to visit during one of the wrestling nights. He would later earn full patronage by almost single-handedly winning a music-themed quiz night. While he tends to merely act as a customer within the Emblem Warhorse, Grampa has occasionally assisted with setup for musical performances. As discovered shortly after the quiz night, Grampa Warhorse has been a long-time admirer of blues music and will gladly talk about the subject until the listener manages to break away or the bar itself intervenes. Upon becoming an active member of the Seattle Garages, Grampa Warhorse has begun learning how to play the clarinet and has taken some interest in the Skarages project. Occasionally Grampa Warhorse will attempt to obtain something that originated in Dark Seattle in order to send it to a local version of the research group he departed from.
