To comment specifically on some of the clashing themes in this article. Please keep in mind that the original article for this Season One player has been around for... well, over 6 months now maybe longer, and in "blaseball years" feels like decades. This was a time when there was less thought being put into the readings of things and it was a bit of the wild west when it came to people writing lore.

Many of these elements have been maintained in an effort to respect the original author's creation while doing our best to remove the problematic elements and also focusing on tapping into Ortiz's cultural background more instead of simply ignoring it like the original character concept did.

The Aphrodite thing was mentioned primarily to tap into that "goddess of love" type energy that we were going for, because Hades and Atlantis exist it felt appropriate to draw parallels to those Greek myths. Originally we were going to say Venus instead of Aphrodite, but we felt it would give the Georgias a nice plot thread they could work with if they so desired since that is Ortiz's current home team. The fact she is a Gorgon is more of an unrelated coincidence.
